We are excited to launch the first mural in our three-part series titled “๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ป๐ด๐ผ ๐ง๐ต๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต ๐ง๐ถ๐บ๐ฒ: ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐.” This project celebrates Marengo’s identity, pride, and progress, with two additional murals planned over the next two years.
The mural will be painted on the south side of Iowa Elite Marketing Group Auction & Realty which is owned by Trent Forrest and will begin on ๐๐๐ป๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ฑ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ with a planned completion date of ๐๐๐ด๐๐๐ ๐ญ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ. The artist that will be painting the mural is our local Grace Atkinson (GracieLou)
The cost for this first mural is $๐ฎ๐ฌ,๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ, and fundraising begins now. Any funds raised beyond that goal will help us move forward more quickly on murals two and three.

This energy boosts nearby businesses, encourages reinvestment, and strengthens the overall vibrancy of downtown. Each mural becomes a long-term asset that supports local commerce and community pride.
